Data we process
- Telegram identifiers, chat identifiers, profile names, usernames, language preferences, and messages sent to the bot.
- Birth date, birth time, birth place, coordinates, timezone, calculated chart data, interpretation context, memories, connections, and response settings.
- Credit balance, credit ledger, purchase or payment records, support messages, abuse or security signals, error logs, and technical delivery logs.
- First-party referral attribution cookies or similar storage that remember which invite, creator, partner, or campaign led a visitor to AskSatori. We use this for referral attribution, analytics, fraud prevention, and commission or bonus calculation; Telegram identity is known only after the visitor opens the bot.
Why we process data
We process data to provide the bot, calculate charts, personalize interpretations, maintain credits, answer support requests, prevent abuse, debug failures, meet legal obligations, and defend or resolve claims and disputes.
At a product level, the legal bases may include contract performance, consent where required, legitimate interests in security and product operation, and compliance with legal obligations.
AI model and third-party API processing
To generate astrology interpretations, memory summaries, conversation recall, embeddings, audio transcription, and optional text-to-speech, AskSatori sends the content needed for the requested feature to third-party AI/API providers. These providers may include Vercel AI Gateway and underlying model providers such as DeepSeek, Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI, depending on the feature and model in use.
The payload can include the user's current message, recent conversation context, selected memories, birth and chart data, language, gender, profile or first name, relationship names and chart data when the user asks relationship questions, and voice audio or transcripts for voice features.
We do not intentionally send payment details, internal database identifiers, Telegram chat identifiers, or Telegram usernames to LLM providers for normal answer generation. If a user includes identifying details in messages, memories, profile names, or relationship context, those details may be included in the AI/API request.
Deletion and retention
You can delete data yourself from the bot menu (/deleterecent), including recent conversations or the whole product account. You can also request deletion through hi@asksatori.com if you cannot use the in-app flow or need help locating your account.
When account deletion is confirmed, deletion is usually final and AskSatori deletes the live product account record without a recovery window: profile, chart data, chat transcripts, memories, settings, notification state, connections, credit ledger, and similar product data.
Encrypted database backups are kept only for security and disaster recovery according to the active Convex backup schedule. Deleted data may remain inside those backups until the backup expires or is overwritten; backups are not used for product processing or personalization, and if a backup restore is ever needed we will re-apply completed deletions where required.
Sharing and processors
AskSatori may use infrastructure, database, hosting, analytics, AI model, Telegram, support, payment, fraud-prevention, and legal/accounting providers as processors or independent controllers depending on the service.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law, platform rules, payment disputes, security incidents, or to protect rights and users.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port data, withdraw consent, or complain to a supervisory authority. Contact support with your Telegram account details so we can locate your record.
